My organizational skills suck!

Posted on May 8, 2009 at 7:14 AM

I am going to be brutally honest about myself here.  Yesterday was not a productive day at all.  I had quite a bit I wanted to do, yet accomplished nothing important.  The reason being is that my organization skills have gone to crap.

Here is why.  I have several email accounts and each gets approximately 100+ emails a day.  I have filtered through them and gotten rid of those I am just not interested in anymore, but the others I keep in order to keep up with whats going on with the "gurus" and I always find it interesting how so many are selling the same item.  Now, having said that, I have signed up for many affiliate programs over the years, and have not stuck with just one email client for those passwords and I.Ds.  Here is were it gets worse on my part, I didn't write them down either.  So There you are.  The truth about me.  I spent an exhausting amount of time yesterday searching for things that should have been at hand.  It would have been nice had I had my old laptop witch did have everything "remembered" by an addon that I used in FireFox, but that laptop bit the dust a couple of months ago.

This is important and it is preached over and over.  Clutter in your surroundings do affect your life and knock things out of balance.  I've been doing better about the clutter and I am still working on that.  The same goes with organization.  If you aren't very organized, then it does have a way of throwing things helter skelter in your life, health, and everything.  Things that you don't even realize, it can have a negative affect on.  I thought I had been doing a better job with this one too, but yesterday showed that I have not and need to reevaluate and work on that area much better.  Do you ever notice how after you've picked up your living room, how much better you feel in that room and how it has a positive feeling to it? This is what I'm talking about.  It is time consuming, but your overall well being and those around you will be better centered, and have better positive thoughts, and better health having your surroundings put in order.  Productivity is conclusive of this habit and it does get easier and easier to keep clutter free and organized.

To your success;
