Keeping a neighbor's dog out of your garden.

First, I have to mention this, it is up to your neighbor to control their dog and it is up to you to respectfully talk to your neighbor about their dog.

With that said, if you can't put a fence around your garden or don't want to, here is what my friend does.  They have a problem out where they live with wild dogs.  In the spring they buy fresh, bulk spices such as cayenne pepper & black pepper and anything else that makes them sneeze and burns the nose a bit.  They sprinkle this concoction all over the perimeter of the gardens every other day, and definitely right after rain washes it away.  The dogs learn that it isn't pleasant on their nose and they remember to stay away.    They have had to do this procedure again mid summer a couple of times to re-remind the dogs.  It has worked very well for them and the cost this year was $10.

As you can see, this is an easy and cheap fix to a problem.  All you have to do is invest a little time.

To your success;
