Getting off the free hosting and Changing Titles.

I loved my personal puppy site being on the free version of freewebs, and I will use them again in the near future, but for this purpose I needed to take things to a higher level.

First off, I wanted my own domain name, thus one reason to switch to a paid version.

The second reason is that I needed to add some Google Adsense to the pages.  You aren't going to get rich putting these ads on your site, but I also look at it as opening the door for more information that someone may be looking for.  I don't find the Google ads to be annoying on anyone's site, because I have turned to them for additional information or products that I am looking for that may not be on the site I landed on.  It is just an added bonus to be using in case someone comes along that may be interested in what someone else has to offer. Competition in this way is good and can be beneficial.

I am also very proud of myself for conquering another, what I would consider, technical glitch!  This is my first time adding Google adsense to my site.  There were some things in the google set up that I didn't understand, but I don't think I needed them anyways.  There was an area regarding "Channels" and I just skipped that part altogether. I hope it wasn't that important at this point, but I can always go back and change later on when I understand a bit more about what to do in that area.

Lastly I changed titles on my pages.  I did have "If it doesn't have poodle in it, then it is just a dog".  I decided that needed to go.  Although I am poodle breeder, I have a Shih-zu and Yorkie also, and have had many types of dogs through out my childhood.  I do not want to discourage people from coming to the site because they don't have a poodle, and I do not want to offend anyone, so it was best to get rid of that statement on my titles.

That is all I have for now.  I will continue working away.

To your success;
