Dogs and Cats in Miami Get Oxygen Masks Donated

Posted on July 23, 2009 at 11:25 AM

Wow!  I was reading the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department are getting a great donation today to help save the lives of dogs and cats.

The Miami Obedience Club has donated oxygen masks to the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department that are made to help save the lives of dogs and cats.  The Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department is very thankful for the expensive donation on the clubs part.  These masks will aid to the survival of dogs and cats suffering smoke inhalation.  There were 27 sets donated, and this will aid in 46 fire department units in helping to save our four legged family members.

I am very happy for them and wish that the Obedience Clubs in other states would do the same thing.  This would definitely be a charity event that I would love to participate in and help organize. So, for anyone in the Newark, Ohio area that has input and any information on donating these specially made oxygen masks, give me a call and lets see what we can put together!!!

Way to go Miami Obedience Club!  Congrats to you and your club members for putting your area dogs and cats at top priority!
